I joined the project in its later phase to bring structure and focus to a delayed development process and ensure a successful launch of the minimum viable product (MVP). My main responsibility was to align ongoing work with the project's contractual goals and functional requirements while stabilising day-to-day development.

The development team — an external group of around six people — had been struggling with inconsistencies in ordering workflows and a malfunctioning driver app for service providers. I introduced GitLab as a single source of truth for issue tracking, consolidating bug reports, user feedback, and the backlog. This greatly improved communication and ensured that issues were prioritised and resolved in the right order.

I worked directly with users — including Høgevarde staff, drivers, and cabin owners — to identify usability problems and define solutions. I produced sketches and flow diagrams for the developers to clarify user journeys and interface improvements. In addition, I managed the AWS account and helped with managing payment providers, ensuring the technical environment remained stable and compliant.

Once the app was stabilised, I led acceptance testing and coordinated discussions around payment adjustments stemming from change orders and scope clarifications, ensuring all parties reached a fair and well-documented agreement. I coordinated post-launch bug resolution, and worked with Høgevarde's legal advisors to secure GDPR compliance and a maintenance agreement.

The app launched in 2022 and, after initial adjustments, performed reliably in daily use. Both the app and its back-end infrastructure operated stably under regular use. Due to external factors — including rising interest rates and slower cabin sales — further development and maintenance were paused in 2024.
