I was hired as a UX consultant to help define and structure the MVP. Working as part of a multidisciplinary UX team, I focused primarily on research and user-flow design for the sales and bidding processes — key areas for business performance and customer experience.

To build a thorough understanding of the market, I conducted and analysed interviews with stakeholders across the Canadian HVAC industry — including business owners, office staff, field technicians, and sales representatives. The findings were translated into feature requirements, personas, user stories, and detailed wireframes that outlined the core workflows and information hierarchy.

To support internal discussion and validation, I created a lightweight React-based prototype illustrating some of the layout and logic of the main user journeys. This complemented the wireframes and Figma sketches and helped the design process around structure, priorities, and flow before detailed visual design and development began.

A significant part of my work involved refining the financial module to ensure that sales users could offer appropriate financing options while maintaining regulatory compliance. Expert input from the client and domain specialists was integrated directly into the UX logic.

The MVP foundations were established through an iterative process that aligned design exploration with early technical development. The validated user flows and wireframes guided ongoing work and helped maintain a shared understanding between UX, product, and engineering teams. The project remains under active development.
